What changes the price

The glass chosen, the frames and how high the windows sit each move the quote. Two glaziers may price different glass for the same opening, so ask for it by name.

Working after hours to keep a shop open, or bringing in a lift for upper floors, adds cost that some quotes leave out until later.

Before the glazier arrives

Clear a path to each window, inside and out, and move stock or desks away from the frames.

Tell staff and anyone sharing the building when the work is on, and agree with the glazier where the van will park.
